    are cramps normal?

    Howdy, there

Into my first pg after trying for a year (yay!!) ... I don't have many symptoms at all - a little nausea, and very tired - but I've been having mild period-style cramps for the past week.

    No blood, just cramps.

    Is this normal?

Yep - completely normal. I didn't realise this when I was pg with my first baby and freaked out completely for the first few weeks. In fact, I think they still made me freak out with my second and third pg as well. As long as you are not bleeding, I wouldn't be too concerned.

Congratulations on your pregnancy!!! Hope you have a happy and healthy 9 months.

I'm nearly the same amount of time pregnant as you (I'm 5 weeks 5 days) and I am also getting these cramps. They feel exactly like period cramps! I got them with my first child as well and everything was fine. I think it's just everything in there starting to stretch and adjust to all the new goings-on!
