    We had to give it another go......

    Hi There,
    It has been exactly a year that I have been on this forum, pooring my heart out to all. It broke our hearts to miscarry last year, so much so that it has taken a year for us to try any IVF. We changed Drs and low and behold we had some great results. We were given so many antioxidants etc and different treatments by this fantastic Dr that we were able to produce wonderful embies.
    I had 10 eggs collected, only 5 fertilised but by day 3 we had 2 - 8 cell(compacting) embies, 2 - 8 cells embies and one that was not to shabby as well.
    So we had the best two transferred on the 14/9 and just yesterday had our confirmed. My HCG at 13dpt is 160...I am to scared to even remember what the numbers were last year. They were great I think but our little one wasn't to be.
    So here we are again, nervous but giving it our all to become parents.

    CONGRATULATIONS poppihome!!!

    That's just wonderful! All you can do is live in the moment and take each day as it comes... is your clinic doing a 6/7 week scan? And don't forget to pop into the pregnancy after LTTC forum - you'll find plenty of supprot and understanding there love - whenever you feel ready that is.

    All is going well so far, I have another BT on Saturday and then a scan two weeks after that.....fingers crossed
