    accidental xray exposure during pregnancy

HI, im 38 weeks pregnant. today i was visiting my mum in the ICU and the patient in the bed next to her was xrayed, which i didnt realise until i heard the machine go off . obviously i wasnt standing directly next to the machine, it was probably about 2 metres away. since then ive been worried has my bub been exposed to radiation and should i be worried? anyone got any idea?

dont quote me on this but i think later in pregnancy its not as bad as earlier on. if concerned ring a dr or nurse and ask.

You would be fine hun. The level of radiation is safe even if you had the x-ray. They just recommend against it as a precaution. You have no need to worry.
