Co-sleeping advice, age into cot + how?

    Hi all,

Just wondering of anyone out there who co-slept and what age and how you put them into their own cot?? Little one is 15 months naps in her cot during the day but we still co-sleep overnight. I know it's probably naughty but I love waking up with her in the morning and really don't want to loose our special bond. Partner is cracking it though so feel like I have to change but am unsure how to do it 'easily' and hope to keep our special bond, will be very sad if it changes our relationship if I push her?? I wanted to originally keep going till she decided she was ready (like with b/f-she weaned herself), I know it's not like she'll be in the bed until she's 20! She already gets herself out of bed in the morning when we wake up so I feel like it might not be too long before she's ready....I don't know???

MY DS just turned 2 and still co-sleeps at night. I've had his toddler bed set up and put him in it when he's asleep but as soon as he wakes up and realises he isn't in our bed, he gets up and hops in with us anyway..

Just wanting to wish you luck with the transition.

Thanks , that's what I'm a bit worried about. We have split level home and our bedroom is on one level and other bedroom upstars (5 stairs). She was climbing stairs well and coming down backwards but got over confident and tried shimmying down forwards/frontal slipped and fell downstairs and is now sporting a bit of a purple eye!! I don't fancy running up + down stairs in the middle of the night either. Was bad enough doing that before she started co-sleeping at a few weeks old. Maybe I'll wait a bit and hope that partner doesn't crack it too much more....can't get much worse can it???
