    protectors and sheets for bassinets

    Hi

can anyone help with this question

so far I have one living textiles 'smart-dri' bassinet mattress protector... is that enough? or will I need two? They are about $24 each, and I still need to buy cot ones too, so I don't want too many.

Also how many fitted sheets for the bassinet do you think I will need?

    Thanks

I don't have or plan to use a bassinet but for my cot I have one mattress protector ATM. My mattress has a waterproof side so I plan on using that rather than the fabric side.

I have to full cot sets both have a fitted and flat sheet and I recently bought 2 more fitted sheets so 4 fitted and 2 top sheets.

I have NO idea if this will be enough but figures I will soon know

I had 2 sets of bassinette sheets and 1 mattress protector. Don't go overboard on bassinette manchester, they really aren't in there for long enough. My boys were only in the bassinette until 2 months as they were really long.
Mattress protectors dry really fast so can be washed and dried in no time. I would say 1 is enough.

squidipa is right, you can use any pillowslip or wrap as a sheet in a bassinette.

NaeNae, you do washing so often with a little baby that 2 or 3 sets of cot sheets should be plenty.

Thanks so much everyone. You have all helped

I've decided to save money! We have one sheet that came with the bassinet so will use that, and then muslin wraps and pillowcases (Good idea!).
I have to stop spending money somewhere... its never-ending isn't it!?
