DD is a compulsive twirler and sucks her thumb at the same time - we have had a few funny instances where she has knotted her finger into her hair and been stuck. Enjoy your twirler!
Just putting it out there that my 2 year old DD is an avid hair twirler. Usually during her contemplative stages (like tv watching etc)
Any other kids do this...? And how cute is it?![]()

DD use to do it when she was younger only when she was tired.

Yep, me and DD do it. My mum thinks it's hilarious and my family picked it up in Darcy before I did.
Sometimes she twists hers so much her fingers get stuck or it's like a dreadlock lol.
Always when she's tired.
My DS is a hair twirler. Jack is 17 months and he twirls his hair when he is tired, he also twirls his hair to go to sleep. Everyone keeps hassling me to cut his hair, but I don;t think he'd be able to go to sleep without twirling his long hair, LOL.
