sitting forward in rear facing child restraint

How do I stop my 5month old from sitting up in his rear facing car seat?
I cant tighten the straps any more. He leans forward a far as he can, at every opportubity. I keep pulling ober to lean him back but he does it again!!

Any suggestions?

Try a mirror. I had one on back on seat for DS and also had toys attached to each of the straps that go either side of car seat. He was rear facing till 14 months and was turned because he was trying to turn around to see DH or I while driving.

any mirror recomendations? we have a toy on a string that clips onto the side strap thingy but she pulls it off instantley and i stress she is gonna strangle herself!

mine used to do it as well.. It won't hurt them

give him a couple toys to play with..

Hollo I got my mirror at baby bunting and it has a remote with it to turn on lights and music cant remember brand but its green with rainforrest. Around $40 I think

I used the toys with the big bull dog type clips so he couldn't pull off just slid up and down strap
