    DS and personal hygeine

I didnt know where else to post this, so I appologise if it is in the wrong spot - I blame preganacy brain Mods please feel free to move to a more appropriate forum.

So, DS is 4 now. I was wondering at what age does DH need to show/teach him to clean under his foreskin? My main reason for asking is because my friends son is 11 and needs to be circumsised becasue he keeps getting infections because of lack of personal hygeine.

    Thanks.

Just wash it as you would any other body part...no need to pull it back, it is actualy self cleaning. Sometimes the foreskin doesnt retract till they are older.

This is what I have heard and read. Good luck xxx

Ubba - you still going????? Nearly there

I don't have an answer, 'cause I'm not anywhere near there with DS1. But, good to see you're still kickin' - or the bubs is anyway.

With both of our DS's we just had them cleaning as far as it would go.As Boomba said sometimes it doesn't retract; I think from memory they were about 2 or 3 when it started coming back a bit? they shouldn't force it back, just go with it.
Oh, and be careful about soap - you don't want soap under there that's not rinsed
i still offer a reminder to DS2 sometimes, as in just ask him if he's washed under there.
