Will I be overdue again.......????

Hi everyone,

I was induce with both my pregnancies after being 11 days over with DD and 12 days over with DS. What are the chances I will go overdue again? Or is it all just 'luck of the draw'?

Also, my Dr said I should expect a big baby as according to my scan I had last week at 34 weeks showed the baby to be in the 60th percentile. DD was 7lb 12oz and DS was 9lb. I dont know how much more my poor vagina can stretch

Any thoughts will be much appreciated xx

I personally think (from reading LOTS) that its up to the individual baby - they choose their own birth date. You read so many stories from people who had an early baby, then an overdue baby - so I dunno - is it really the mother that makes the baby comfy enough to stay in or impatient babies wanting out? LOL

Having said that - Miss M was two weeks over, so I'm not expecting miracles, but I've always thought this one would come around 2 weeks early.. so we'll see if I'm right

hi there my bubs was in 98th percentile at 32 week scan and was only 8 pound 2 at birth although he was 2 weeks early. scans arent very reliable that far along in pregnancy although my bub was 57 cm long so they got that part right!

I agree with Arimeh - babies choose their birthdays, hehe. As I too have heard soo many stories of people's first bub being early, second bub being late etc etc.
By the sounds of it tho (on our BB group), everything is sounding really promising for you, all those BH!! I'm getting excited, and i'm going to pick that you'll go early! hehehe
