So I think I might be getting a holiday to Noosa and am looking for a lightweight stroller for DS. I have seen the quicksmart but it seems $$$ (about $200 online) and says only for 6mths + (DS is only 3 now - prob be 4 1/2 by then)
Does it layback much? (I know it only has one recline position - could I use a head snuggle for DS?)
OR - anyone have a better suggestion? Where to get a cheapish layback umbrella stroller and brand reccs pls?
Yes, we bought one recently, and it is great in how it folds up, but it doesn't allow a layback position, only a slight recline, not surde if a head snuggler would work....I saw one in Myer the other day, you could check it out and se eif it will suit your needs...
If you google bubs and grubs they sell the stroller for $179 at the moment plus shipping....plus they have a good little video on how it works.
I love ours and it is great for travel but it doesn't recline so they really do need to be sitting by themselves and have good neck control - I guess that's why they say 6mo. DD2 was 6.5mo when she started using it.
I just bought one Pick it up from PO tomorrow. A mum at music had the old 3-wheel version and it seemed ok.. but the 3wheel one is tricky to fold up apparently! We've bought the 4-wheel which is a 2 step fold. We've bought it because we're going to Singapore next year and it's small enough to check in as hand luggage.
The recline doesn't seem too bad.. might be ok for a 4 1/2 mth old... have a look on youtube for quicksmart stroller review.
I nearly ordered from bubs and grubs, but it was $20 shipping so was pretty much $200 anyway. Ended up going with Playdex, was $189 + $7.95 shipping, so still the same at the end of it.. but it was a much better website and ordering process.. so that won me
ETA: hmmm. just realised you guys are saying it doesn't recline?? It does in the video??
