    Cubby House Furniture

What do you guys have in your cubby houses?

Our little monsters are getting one for Christmas & I've been thinking about what to put in it. Should we have a kitchen or table & chairs, something else? It's 1.5mx1.5m.

    TIA

A friend has a stove, sink, toaster and oven she got from ebay. All wooden and lovely. They came flat packed and were easy enough to put together. My DD LOVES playing with the oven and sink, they are a real winner. She has the pots from ikea, the kids bake and wash up for hours.
If i was a kid i think i'd like the appliances better than a table.

Thanks for that, I was thinking a kitchen or something along those lines would be best. We're looking on ebay too, much cheaper than trying to buy them new.

My kiddies are getting a cubby too. DD is getting a kitchen set which has a fridge/freezer, oven, hot plates, microwave and sink ($170 fromTarget) and we are getting DH a work bench from Kmart ($20) with heaps of tools included.

We have a pretty big cubby and we havent bothered with table and chairs - they only get in the way. We have an old plastic stove toy with assorted pots and pans, a chalkboard, a kiddie piano and stool (was getting waaayyy too noisy inside) and some cheap plastic drawers from Bunnings which are filled with things like toy toasters, cutlery etc...

We're putting a colourful carpet into ours (so the kids can sit on the floor and I'm thinking a few shelves. DD is getting a kitchen set (oven, sink, pots & pans) for christmas and I might throw a few dress ups out there from time to time too.

What a great idea! Where did everyone get their cubby from? I would love one for the girls. They're always trying to squeeze into their little tent to play, so a cubby outside would be great.
