    So Uncomfortable

I've Still got 6 and a half weeks to go and I'm feeling so uncomfortable now.
Whenever I'm standing I get a constant dull ache in my lower belly that i can only explain as pressure. Sometimes it feels like all my insides are going to fall out, baby and all. Just not nice. I wasn't expecting to feel anything like that for a while yet. Is it normal with over 6 weeks to go to have that feeling? it goes away when I sit or lie down.
And my feet have just started swelling. yukky. I've had a few weeks where they've been swollen by the end of the day, but then back to normal by morning, but the past few days the swelling hasn't gone down much at all. Yay for cankles.
I can't get comfy to sleep, cause whenever I lie on my side the weight and pressure on my shoulder makes my arm go tingly and I can lie propped up on my back for half an hour at a time before the weight makes my legs tingly. Geez I sound like a mess.
Sorry for the whinge, but I'm feeling a bit over it at the moment and everything hurts and it seems such a long time left that I have to persevere

I can sympathize, especially with the swollen feet. There were days I sat crying with my feet in a bucket of water it was that agonizing.
You can only remind yourself it will go away and you'll get something awesome.

    Oh Dear..

I feel for you, i know exactly what you're talking about, no position seems right. I have aching on my lower belly too, above the pubic bone, and it's horrible! it's a struggle to roll from one side to another side while attempting to sleep at night, to get off the bed, or get in & out of the car because of the pain..

    *sighs!*

it's funny how no one mentions all this to you before you come pregnant

i had severse oedema (fluid retention) with my first, and it wasnt just my feet it was my whole body. just make sure your caregiver is aware that it is no longer subsiding after rest, oedema can be linked to other complications.

ask for a physio style belly belt, it is amazing the relief it can give to lower belly pain.

and as for sleeping not much can make you comfy, i like to lay on my side and get a long big fluffy pillow and jamming it between my legs and under my belly and hugging it, this way you can sort of roll more from your side to your belly (or it feels like it anyway)

you dont have long left, due date will be here before you know it
