    Question Sleep Crawling?

DD has just started crawling () in the past week. Now I have found her a few times in the middle of the night and she is sound asleep but she is in crawling position! She has her bum in the air and on her knees but her face is on the mattress and she is SOUND asleep, so I just re position her under her blanket and in another hr or so she is back up there!!

Its not such an issue - she doesnt seem to mind even if she is alseep!

Has any one elses bub done this at all?? Is it just due to the fact that she has just discovered crawling??

    TIA
    Kate

i dont know why she did it
but my DD did this, and loved sleeping head down bum up afgter she discovered crawling
so we just left her alone, made sure she had warm pjs on ( was winter ) and room was warm, she never stired, we found if we moved her she would just move back anyway lol

Yep Jazz does it, she still does it even though she's been crawling and walking for ages. It's a real pain when she hits the sides of the cot and wakes herself up

I don't even bother with a blanket anymore (she's never liked it on anyway, always wakes her up) and just dress her according to the weather.

DS sleeps like that. I call it the Turtle... on his hand and knees, head down and bum up in the air...

    DD occasionaly does it still..

But I went and picked her up from daycare a few weeks back at about 1.45 in the afternoon, so lots of kids were still asleep, and a lot of kids in that position (and I walked past 4yr olds down to 1 yr olds.)

My DD isn't crawling properly yet, more of a drag and push type deal but she does this all the time in her sleep and wakes up constantly from banging into the sides of the cot... drives me bonkers. She nearly always sleeps with her bum in the air!
