I am overdue soon to be new mum of a little boy who would like to know if there is a mothers group in the Norman Park,Bulimba area. To catch up for coffee or to go for walks etc. If anyone knows of one please let me know.
I also live in Bulimba and am looking to meet mums to be / new mums. I am six months pregnant and not working. I would love to get out of the house and meet others for coffee, chats and walks. It's my first pregnancy.
Hi! Sorry I've only just got to this now - I can meet up next week (any day except wednesday!), I can send you my email address if you want. It would be cool if we told each other a bit about ourselves b4 we meet up so its not as scary! What do you think?
My husband and I emigrated from the UK to Australia, gosh nearly 4 years ago. We've been all over Australia working and living and finally laid down some roots buying a unit in Bulimba about 1.5 years ago. We've been trying for a baby for a while and found out the day we were leaving for the UK (for a long trip home) that I was pregnant. So we cut our plans short and moved back to Australia as we wanted to be settled and back in our own home for when the baby arrives.
As I left my job when we were going overseas, I'm not working. I want to meet up with pregnant mums or new mums for coffee chats walks etc. Because we'll have something in common to chat about and it's always nice to hear other peoples stories and get advice etc.
You could go to ABA meeting at Bulimba or there are several playgroups listed for new mums on the playgroup Australia! The library has babies and rhymes time (Bulimba or Carindale) and lots of Mums go to that!
Oh I almost forgot you could go and see Cooparoo Child Health and book in for a four week long mothers course (its a bit bland) but I met sometime great friends out of that!
