Whats going on?

I came off the pill on Sept 13th and got AF on the 18th of Sept. Since then Ive had nothing. Ive tested and Im not preg. Just wondering if it took anyone else this long to get AF after coming off the pill? And do you think I should go to the docs to see whats going on? Thanks.

how long were you on the pill? how long was your cycle before you went on the pill? It can do crazy things to you ...

I had been on the pill for 8 years. Af used to come every 28 days unless I skipped the sugar tablets so I wouldnt get it.

i had the same thing happen to me at the start of the year. i went off the pill had af straight away and then it was 5 months almost to the day before i got my next one.
the pill can really mess with your hormones and it can take a while for them to sort themselves out.
my dr just kept doing fsh and progesterone bt to see if i had ovulated.. turned out i didn't all that time.
after the 5 months i had af and about a 40 day cycle and now im down to 33 day cycle and im ovulating as well.
hope it all works out.

Just wondered if you are still waiting for af? I am in exactly the same position, I came off the pill in august and had my withdrawal bleed on 28th of august and even now 5 mnths later I am still waiting for my first af. After 3 months of waiting I went to see my dctr who refered me to see a gynaecologyst - my appointment isn't until next tuesday, I have read lots about info about it on the internet and the problem does seem quite common apparently its called post pill amenorrhea and hopefully thats all it is and can be sorted easily.
