About to fly with teething 7 month old - advice?

As the title suggests - I am due on a flight tomorrow and DS is teething. Kicked in pretty bad in the last 24 - 48 hours. We have to catch the flight (christmas and all) but I was after any helpful advice to make the flight easier for him. We've flown before so I'm all good to go with the feeding when taking off or landing etc - just any other hints for teething babies would be appreciated. TIA

sm33 is a really good otc gel , its the only one i buy now . also maybe try some panadol 30mins before take off ? just to ease the pain. BF or bottle is good to get them sucking duirng take off and landing .also a dummy if he has one. panadol may also make him a little sleepy and help him sleep.

some ppl suggest phenergan , but i think your LO is too young . also some babes go the opposite way on the stuff . so dont even go there i know my DD phernergan takes aaaages to work (no i dont drug her but she gets it when her allergies get too much at night) so i dont even bother with it .

some babies will cry on a plane weather they are teething or not , there were 2 babies on a plane (1 of them mine) and one cried the whole time and the other didnt . so its luck of the draw.
