    Question Bubs at the pool?

Hi, hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. Just wondering does anyone have any advice on when to take my little son to the heated pool. I think the toddlers pool is around 32 degrees, and my husband and I were wondering at what age is suitable to take our little man into the pool. We have asked the management and they don't have an age limit, and our son loves water . He has done since he was a newborn, only cried on his first and second bath and hasn't done since which we think is a huge plus! He is 3 months old now, so any advice would be great. Thanks

I took DD to the pool from a young age... she loved it too.
Just make sure that you give him a good shower/bath in fresh water to get the chlorine off afterwards.

3 months is fine - the swim school DD and DS go to will take babies from 3 months. Just make sure he hasn't fed just before going in...management won't take too kindly to a spew in the pool, and give him a good shower or bath afterwards to get the chlorine off his skin...and a bit of moisturiser maybe, if his skin is sensitive.

Then enjoy the nice long nap he will have afterwards!

I took DD to a babies class in a hydro pool at 10 weeks. Since then we have been swimming several times at the local pool with a few of the girls from mothers group and in a friends pool. We used both the hydro and kids pools and DD enjoyed both even though the kids pool is cooler.

    Have fun. We love it!
