    My story is....

    hard to deal with.

I married my DH in September 2006, fell pregnant in January 2007 only to find out at the 12 us that our baby had a serious neural tube defect. Unfortunately, terminated by D&C in April 2007.

TTC from May 2007 to January 2008, when I was diagnosed with PCOS. I had long and inconsistent cycles, hence my diagnosis. After the diagnosis I lost 20kgs due to the risk of type 2 diabetes and am now a healthy weight. My cycles came back to 28-33 days with metformin 500mg.

I started clomid 50mg in March 2009 as the metformin on its own didn't seem to do much. Yeh! I was pregnant only to naturally miscarriage at 6 weeks.

Took the second round of clomid 50mg in July 2009 and fell pregnant again. I had an early us at 6 weeks and was told not to panic but there wasn't quite as much amniotic fluid around the baby as they would like. I was told to come back in 1 week to check it out. I went back and found out the baby had no heartbeat. Devastation.

My DH and I contemplated seeing the Miscarriage Management Clinic at Sydney IVF to try and find out why this was happening. My OB has suggested that we try once more and if the next pregnancy fails to then see them.

I just took my 3rd round of clomid 50mg in November 2009 and got AF late December. Am now onto my 4th round late December 2009. Hope this is the one!

This is such a long road. I feel like my whole life is consumed by this mess. DH and I are holidaying os in late February. I will be glad to get away considering I keep putting my life on hold.

Bella Goth - What a hard few years you've had. I think you are amazing - it is just awesome that you lost your weight. Hope the overseas holiday helps you and DH forget about TCC madness. Seriously it does your head in.

If you feel like you want to have the investigations sooner rather than later, than go with that. Even if you trust your ob, it's you that walks in your shoes. I reckon at least call them and sus them out. I think there are a few tests that they like to do and some of them are done at certain days of your cycle.

Be strong, but then again, you already are.

    Bella Goth,

I also had 2 miscarriages and we are not going to have another one as I want to do all tests to identify the reasons. Moreover as soon as I am pregnant again I will insist on staying in hospital to have a saving therapy if needed.

My story goes back to 2007 when I got pregnant and doctors mistekenly diagnosed ectopic pregnancy. They strongly recommended laparoskopy as absolutely unharmful surgery to diagnose a potential ectopic pregnancy. No ectopic pregnancy was found the final diagnose was a normal pregnancy. In 2 days i started bleeding. Doctor recommended by phone to have a pill of progesteron. Nothing helped and "unharmful surgery" turned to a real disaster .

3 weeks ago I have done tests and found that I was pregnant! US showed 6 weeks, heartbeating, absolutely normal pregnancy. Next day after us I started bleeding, went to the hospital, had saving therapy. Nothing helped again. D&C. That's it.

What I think now is that we should fight for our babies. Doctors DO NOT CARE. One or three miscarrieages do not mean much for them. "Try this, try that "- this is what they can suggest . They do not understand what it means to lose a HOPE again and again.

In Ukraine we have good and expensive private hospitals but as I see from many stories of ausie girls, there are bad doctors everywhere in the world and it does not matter who you are.

So dear, I wish you to find a good doctor who will care of you as if you are his daughter. And fight, fight and fight for your little miracle!
