when you wee!

i was just wondering if anyone has a slight pain not when going for a wee but as the bladder is emptying i am getting a little pain almost shooting. I has a HVS (high vaginal swab) yesterday and was wondering it this could be the cause? i am also peeing a bit more today than before?

Lou, are you pregnant from a fresh cycle or a FET? I ask because I had a mild case of OHSS when pregnant with Sam and I had pain like you described. Peeing was painful, holding on was painful - it just really, really hurt when my bladder got too ful and again as my bladder emptied. I'm told it was from the OHSS and it did settle in time.

I had those pains weeing at first.....I tend to think it is everything stretching, building all those extra blood vessels and nerves....extra pressure from the uterus expanding rapidly making something hit on a nerve...it all adds up....mine went away at 19 when the uterus lifted up out of the pelvis and is now coming back as it all moves down again.....the joys of pregnancy!!

Yeah i noticed in the early weeks peeing hurt a bit but now its fine.

Lou, I get this on and off, all through this pg. It almost feels like the start of a UTI........have no idea why it happens though!

Thanks it is feeling worse today but i guess starting the P4 again two days ago doesnt help!
