Hopeful VBA3C when the time is right

OMG i am not even preggers yet and not ready to start trying...BUT i have found an OB/GYN that is willing to take me on when the time is right for a trial of labour and hopefully a VBA3C! i am soooo excited!!!! just had to share my news

Make sure you are fully aware of any 'restrictions' though which could increase your risk of c/s, for example what his policy is on post dates (how long he'd be happy with you going post dates), what monitoring he'll expect (usually continuous in the bed

) and things like that. It's wonderful you have this opportunity, arm yourself with info and tell him what you want too! Don't just feel lucky for the chance but feel confident asking for what you want which will increase your chances of success

I am reading reading reading.....I am reading TRUST YOUR BODY TRUST YOUR BABY at the moment...and i am awaiting a copy of SILENT knife to come in so i can read that....
DH is not really enthused about this BUT i told him the OB will be there and IF i have to have a section then so be it...BUT i'll be damned if i do!!!!

i have now had another reply from another OB/GYN that says he would support a VBA3C at the time of my next pregnancy!!!!! i am soo excited

Wow, that is very interesting, we struggle to find Obs like that in Victoria. I might start a thread up so we can name Obs who will support VBA2/3C... but we'd need to know restrictions.

BB i won't know restrictions etc UNTIL i visit them when i am preggers.... i AM leaning towards one OB though.

hi i noticed you are in Sydney who are the obs you have contacted that would be supportive? im planning a vba2c and was sure there was NO ONE supportive of this! (i didnt ring around though! just the general consensus from IM and such)

would love to know...and i know this is fairly old - an update abbout where you are in your journey so far.
