Hi there,
I have two little ones, the first born early via emergency c-section, the second a private hospital VBAC with a Doula. I'm now pregnant with my third and booked into a public hospital and have a Doula.
Just wondering about others experience with birth post VBAC. Did you still encounter any problems or hospital staff making it difficult for you to have a vaginal birth because of your c-section, or did your last vaginal birth wipe the slate clean?
TIA

Currently doing the sameSo far, there has been nothing but support but I still got the *risks* talk from the O&G fellow last week
so I am not sure if it wipes the slate or not.
Carrie, I posted in the VIC public hospitals forum all the VBAC success rates as per the govt's maternity indicators report, you might get something out of thatBut I think given private has more c/s you would have more luck going public. However like any hospital, the midwives you get are pot luck, but you'll have your doula

michelle- Thanks for your reply. goodluck to you too! I have been seeing the same midwife for all my appointments and she is great, so i haven't had any "talks". Hopefully I get some good midwives when in labour. But as said I do have my Doula and a wonderful husband for support.
Kelly- Thanks, I did have a look at that. Was still suprised that the rates weren't higher than they were.
Any other responses about your experiences would be appreciated!
