Dating Scan or HCG Levels

Just wanting to know if anyone knows if it's possible to narrow down a date of conception by HCG levels or an early scan?

I believe that a scan is more accurate, someone correct me if im wrong.

The BHCG varies greatly from person to person so its not possible to tell exactly how far along you are based on your BHCG. An ultrasound is more accurate. I hope this means you are pregnant Coco. If so I am so so happy for you and your DH and send heaps of sticky vibes your way.

I'd have to say a scan also..however 3 of my scans came up with different due dates all withing 2 weeks of each other but still...

An early scan at 6-7 weeks is most accurate, I think.

Definitely more accurate with a scan as BHCG levels can vary so greatly and are no real indication of how far along you are.

my HCG results said I was between 9-10 weeks but I knew I was only 7 weeks. My scan at 7 weeks showed that I was exactly 7 weeks pregnant so a scan is more acurate.

Does this question from you mean what I think it means?

As for your question, I was told the Dating scan is more accurate then HCG levels. That having been said they can still be out by + or - 3 days (or so I was told)
