I just wanted to say the biggest THANK YOU to you guys for opening my eyes to the world of BLS... omg I just love it so much. I love it, love it, LOVE IT! It makes my life so much easier and I have a child (9 1/2 months) who just looooves to try his food and at dinner is so eager to see what's for dinner and dives in and does not make a sound until he's had enough. He is so easy to feed, doesn't gag like his older brother did when I tried to make his food lumpier than puree..... oh the agony lol. He is months and months ahead of where Oskar was at the same age. I watch him in awe at how expertly he moves the food around in his mouth to chew it (or gum it as he's only just got his first 2 front bottom teeth a few weeks ago) and bite bits off. Truly amazing and a great sight to see! It's just awesome and I wish I knew about it back then. Live and learn they say and learn I have. I recommend it so much.
I couldn't believe how quickly my DD was eating foods just like us (without any teeth!) and when I was watching a DVD of her aged 12 mths the other day she was expertly using a spoon to shovel in butter chicken and rice. Just reminded me how different BLS can be from the 'norm' of spoon feeding babies purees!
I had the ABA to thank for opening up the world of BLS to me.
DD2 has only just gotten one lonely top tooth but it doesnt stop her eating anything, i also lovve watching her tongue push the food around in her mouth!!
it certainly makes meal times so much easier!!
BLS is just fantastic! I wish I had have known more about it when I had DS. DD is Amazing with her food and I'm just so much more relaxed and happy this time around. DS never got to eating what she's been eating for a few months and is the fussiest eater in the world. DD will eat anything and everything and it's a fantastic change.
