    Doula/Midwife

    just wondering.....
what would be a better option? IM or doula if i am wanting a VBA3C and want to labour at home for as long as possible....i know the hospital is going to say NO VBAC straight away but if i turn up fairly dialated with say a doula what would my chances be of getting the VBAC?
DH would definatly say NO to a homebirth with a IM....so would a doula be a better option for me?

I would say go with a doula. Make sure the Doula has great experience with VBAC's to help you through.

I'd probably suggest an independent midwife actually, if only because I think they may have more clout and be more willing to stand up to hospital staff who are not being respectful of your wishes.
