What's my body up to now?

    Hi Ladies,

Opinion Needed: - I posted this in the TTC 1-6 months thread but it seems no one has an answer for me?

I stopped bleeding from MC last Thursday 11 Feb and have had a small amount of sticky white CM over the past few days.

Just to give you an example of how it went last cycle I got Clear Stretchy CM about 6 days before I Ovulated and then about a day after I O'd I got some sticky White CM

So, based on last month's findings is it possible that I Ovulated straight after I stopped bleeding? Or is there another reason why I am getting Sticky White CM?

Also, just this morning I have been getting slight cramping humm not sure what is going on?

    Can anyone help me?

Hey Blondie - do you mean you got EWCM which is why you think you O'd early? Sticky or creamy CM usually means you are not in a fertile patch.

In saying that if you got EWCM early it does not necessarily mean you O'd either. I've heard lots of ladies report it before, during and after O date, but its the most common sign that O is approaching. The only precise way to find out you O'd is by temping or OPKs.

Apparantly your cycles can return to normal pretty much straight away after a MC, so if you think you O'd on around the same date as you normally would then that could be it.

Good luck - I'm still waiting for O after MC...

Thanks Sarahrach, I haven't had the clear stretchy stuff yet - just the white sticky stuff...and I didn't really get any of the white sticky stuff last cycle until after I had O'd? I got the clear stetchy stuff before I O'd though.

Last month I O'd on CD 17 - and if all went as normal and AF showed up etc then I would be O'ing tomorrow. So its possible that my cycle is remebering what happened last month and I might O tomorrow?

When I had my MC I bled for exactly 5 days just like a normal period. So, should I start Calculating from when the bleeding from MC started - just like a normal period cycle?

I think I will get some more OPK's? My Doc said not to bother with them but it would be nice to know what's going on in there?

Hey Blondie, check out Fertility Friend Handbook - Fertility Charting For Pregnancy Achievement which is brilliant in giving descriptions on CM and when you should get it.

I generally see creamy before and after with EWCM around O time, and then sticky closer to when AF is due, in saying that everyone is different, but the link might help clear up timings.

Because you MC you can't really count this limbo time as an actual normal cycle. Some girls do go back to exactly the same pattern, others could be delayed a couple of weeks. You just have to keep on watching your body for signs.

I'm charting - doing the temp thing - and waiting for O after MC as I mentioned, I'm now 3 days past when I should have O'd, but I did bleed for 10 days (which is long for me), so I guess if you count my normal period being 5 days then perhaps its delying my O 5 days. I'm still counting from the start though as technically that was CD1.

Thanks for the Link! That info was really helpful!

HAHA its all so complicated! I think I am just going to DTD every second day - just like my first cycle and see what happens. I guess my body will work itself out over time.

All the best with your cycles and catching that eggie!

Hey Blondie - its actually amazing how much you learn about your body when you TTC (not to mention MC) eh.

DTD every second day sounds like a good plan - I'm trying for every third day as I need to keep a bit of stamina in what could be a long month. But if I see any EWCM I'm going to rugby tackle DH

Can't wait to see your BFP announcement. Good luck babes.

Thanks Honey - yeah it is amazing - stuff I took no notice of I was suddenly extremly interested in! Running to the toilet to check my undies at the slightest thing! LOL

DTD every second day is pretty much enough to send my DF but I have told him if he wants a baby this is the way its gotta be. It worked for us last time but I agree with your method too. If I see some EWCM my DF will have to find a better hiding place

Looking forward to hearing yours as well! Its only a matter of time!

    Best of luck!
