    AF doing weird things

Since November I've had a few issues with AF. Its been getting lighter, no clotting and no pain. There has also been no PMS, so no sore and swollen breasts and the mood isn't as bad as usual. Now all these things sound good compared to my normal AF. I've just finished my last one and it was so light that the whole time I only used light pads. I used to have to use night time pads for the first day or so of AF so this is a huge drop in flow. The main part of it only lasted 24 hours and the rest of the time it was just spotting.

3 days after finishing I feel bloated and a slight bit of cramping like I would just before AF arrived.

Has anyone ever had this sort of thing before? Did it turn out to be anything significant? I do have an appointment with my GP on Thursday so I'll talk to her about it then but just wondering what happened with others.

I think the reasoning behind mine has been explained. I'm now type 2 diabetic which would more than likely have an effect on my cycle.

    Hi -

How does type 2 diabeties effect your period ?

I had a question about cycles too - mine is two weeks late - I've never missed one in my life (except when pregnant). Just wondered if/when it turns up, is it late or have I missed one completely ? Traditionally I get irrationally moody about two days beforehand and I had that this month, but nothing else. Just trying to work out where I am in my cycle then.

I think mine is to do with stress from last month and early this month. Definitely not pregnant.

    TIA.

I have PCOS so my sugar level affect my cycle and with them being constantly higher now my cycle has changed.

There could be a number of reasons why AF is late at times. Hormone imbalance, stress, dietry chnges.....
