    Pregnant 2 months after ectopic!

    Hi Guys

I posted in here back in December in an August bellybuddies group.

I ended up having an ectopic pregnancy and had surgery to remove it AND my left fallopian tube at 8weeks.

It's been 2 months since then, and although our OB told us to wait 2 cycles before trying again, I've just had 2 positive tests (one digital!)

I had my first "period" since the surgery at the beginning of Feb, but it only lasted 2 days and was lighter than usual.... so I'm wondering now if that was maybe implantation bleed??

So I'm either 4 weeks or 8 weeks!!

I'm freaking out a bit.... I was hoping it'd happen super quickly again like the first time, but didn't actually expect it!

And of course every little cramp and twinge I'm having is making me worry.

    ARGGGGH!

    Hey Meggles

I had an ectopic and tube removed in november, so can sympathise

My ob said I only had to wait one cycle (ie as soon as I had a period, I was fine to go ahead). No reason why your 2 day bleed couldnt have been this "normal" period.

So you should have been fine to conceive this month. Congrats!!
I'm sure that if you are 8 weeks though, there's every chance it will be fine as well!

You should definitely get to the GP and have quantitative hcg ordered asap- that will help you know exactly whats going on.

Sending you lots of baby-in-uterus vibes!! I hope you're at 4 weeks cos then you can come be my one-tubed belly buddy!!

So glad to hear a story from someone whose timing is almost the same as mine, and that your levels are doubling.. how wonderful for you.

Why do these bloody weekends and public holidays always get in the way - I had to wait longer for blood test and ultrasound when I was losing the bub last time because of Christmas/Boxing Day .. and now this weekend! hehehe

Thanks so much for replying so quickly

Congratulations Meggles (and minimatron and lozzy_mac)
I had an ectopic pregnancy and tube removed in September and my AF has been lighter since and not lasting as long.
