Cloth breast pads - how many will I need?

I'd like to use cloth booby pads when bub #2 arrives, they're so much nicer than the icky disposable ones I used with DS. So how many do I need to invest in?

I brought 12 pairs with DD and that did the job.

I have 6 pairs, I wear two pairs a day (one set during the day and one set during the night). Because I wash every 1-2 days I always have some washed and ready to use

wow seems i went abit OTT. Mine werent water proof tho.

I had 20 pairs. I leaked pretty badly in the early days. Now I dont leak at all though
