Vein Treatment

Hi Ladies,

Well long story short I have got this Varicose Vein behind my knee and its starting to bother me (like I can feel it throbbing sometimes) and I was wondering if its safe to get it shrunk while Pregnant? Apparently they can do this thing where they inject something into it and it makes it shrink and go away. The reason why I want to get this done is because its starting to bother me now and I am only 4 weeks 6 days pregnant - Imagine what it will be like at 8 months!!

I think that you can get it done, but there's a high chance it will come back. I have looked into removal, but my GP said make sure you are finished having kids before you do, as it's apparently not cheap, and not painless....

Thanks Spooky - I think if its going to be expensive & painful and might return I definatly want to make sure that it goes away for good! I might get Doc's opinion and then wait until I know i'm done with Children. I just hope it doesn't get too painfull in the meantime!
