    Hi
I recently found out last week I was pregnant with fraternal twins after having my NT scan at twelve weeks the pregnancy so far has been ok except for the severe morning sickness etc the only thing I am a little concerned about is I woke up this morning and after going to the bathroom notice some brown discharge after I wiped it has been going on during the day again when I go to the toilet and wipe I have had no cramping and was just wondering is this normal or should I call my doctor and help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

    welcome ang.
from what i know if its brown discharge it can be normal. brown tends to = old blood red = new. have you DTD (had sex) lately? or been more active. often in prg. the cervix has more blood flow to it so if there is a little movement EG sex it can cause a small bleed - but not so much it can affect the prg. KWIM?

I'm sure a much wiser BB'er will pop in and explain better then i have

It is very common to bleed in pregnancy, and old blood is the best type. However if you are concerned I would always advise you seek medical advice if only to reassure yourself. Can you pop in and see your GP for some advice?

As the girls have said, bleeding in pregnancy can be normal, however it is recommended to be checked by a GP just to be on the safe side.
    Congrats on your pregnancy too

If you are a stresser then the best thing to do is ring the doctor.
