    Glider chair

    Hi guys,
I'm looking into buying a glider chair - any recommendations?
I looked on Product Review & am no closer to a suggestion!

Just subscribing to this thread as I am interrested in feedback too. I'm wanting a nice compfy feeding chair for the nursery I had an old style rocking chair with DD but it wasn't very comfortable at all.

I got one off ebay..It is like the valco ones i think. It is great!! It wipes clean which was a big factor for me. We still use it every night

we got a valco one from babies galore and i LOVE IT!! although.. it is kinda expensive for what it is. if i could do it again i would definately look for second hand one or go to a furniture place like amart or harvey norman and get a better quality chair for the $$. try and get one that glides and swivels, has a gliding foot stool with it, and reclines.

Yep, my recommendation is bypass the glider chair and head straight for a Layzboy recliner! I'm totally in love with mine - we shopped around for one with a relatively small footprint, in a lovely neutral cream leather, it rocks & reclines. I'm totally in love with it. You'll use your glider for a few years and then it'll be noisy, creaky & you won't be able to get rid of it quick enough. The recliner on the other hand will become the chair that everyone fights over to sit in.

I have a babyhood sovereign glider with an ottoman that DH bought me from Babies Galore. It has become the most favourite chair in the house! I put it back upstairs in the kids room so I have somewhere to sit when they're going off to sleep. I highly recommend it! Everyone that has sat in it wants one for themselves.
