Did your next pregnancy result in a baby?

    Hi all,

I just wanted to ask a question before DH and I start TTC again.

We had a miscarriage at 6 weeks and we are both very keen to TTC again ASAP. From what I have read you have a good chance of having a H&H pregnancy the next time round, but I wanted to know your experiences.....

So, please let me know your experience (good or bad). Was your next pregnancy after miscarriage successful or did you suffer another loss?

So sorry to hear about your miscarriage, chody47. My first baby miscarried, and my second is my beautiful DS. Took me a while to get pg again, but you would be pretty unlucky to have two in a row.

Hope you can get pg again very soon.

I'm sorry to hear of your loss .

My first loss was at 6 weeks too (suspected ectopic) and I fell pg the very next cycle with my DS2, so yes, I had a successful pregnancy straight after a loss

My second loss was a chemical pregnancy and I fell pg with DD 3 cycles later. Another successful pregnancy

    Wishing you all the best

Yay! Some success stories! I hope we can fall pregnant straight away. We were very lucky to fall our first month TTC in the first place....my doc has suggested waiting a month but I keep hearing of people who got BFP's the first month after... I really don't want to have to wait.

Hi Chody, we fell pregnant our first month TTC and found out we lost our angel at 12 weeks, and I am due anyday now with our 2nd bub/pregnancy, so yep there are alot of success stories. We ended up waiting a long time before TTC again, but that was our choice. We fell pregnant with this bub within the first few months of TTC also.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss and wish you the very best on your (hopefully short!) TTC journey

I experienced two losses then fell pg with DD (all up 13 mths of ttc). We started ttc when DD was just over 1 yo, experienced 2 m/c's and are yet to fall pg yet after a total of 17 months ttc.

I wish you all the best

Thank you everyone for sharing your stories with me. I feel a little bit happier knowing I have a reasonably good chance at 'cooking' my next one properly.

I'm in a similar boat. I had a loss at 7 weeks, conceived 6 months later and now have a very healthy 3 month old boy.

You will get there and have a happy and healthy little bubba of your own.

I'm so sorry for your loss chody

I had a loss at 5 weeks and another at 12 weeks after a successful 1st pregnancy 4 years prior. My next pregnancy took 12 months to achieve after my last m/c but was successful

You have a great chance, all the best.

I had a loss at 10weeks, then 2 D and Cs and a whole load of crap and then changed Drs and went for a check up to see if it was ok to start TTC after so much hassle and HELLO my little Evie girl was there. 5 weeks and the cutest little heart beat i have ever seen. It was a long wait to see if it would be a H&H pregnancy but i settled into it at around 17weeks. She is still beautiful and my little gift from god!

    hi girls

good to hear some positive experiences. We lost our baby at 12 weeks last Sept and still havent fallen pregnant. I had a d&c and AF was totally messed up after that, TMI but wasnt bleeding properly, only lost black/brown bits and clots and had no flow at all! Finally started having normal periods again after 8 weeks on Chinese herbs and acupunture and she got my cycle down from 40days to 30-days!! So were hoping that my body just wasnt right and now im on the mend, we may be blessed again soon with a healthy pregnancy! I never expected it to take this long as our last was concieved literally 1st and only try!

Makes me feel like we still have hope as I imagine im going to be a nervous wreck next time i am UTD!

    baby dust to all xx
