I am only assuming that it would be ok to use for a topical application, perhaps someone else knows differently.

Its an anticeptic ointment and i cant imagine much would get into your bloodstream thru such a use. If you are concerned, perhaps dilute it to a 50/50 solution.

Hey double trouble - you should never use 100% tea tree oil on your skin (pregnant or not) as it's too harsh - always dilute it in a carrier oil or a cream. Best to use a formulation on your skin that you can buy in the shops with around 5% tea tree oil in it. 5% is enough to kill the bacteria that can be associated with acne.

My background - I used to work in medical research with it.
