I am after suggestions for a night nappy for my 3.5mo. At the moment she sleeps 6 hrs, has a quick feed, then backto sleep for another 3-4 hours. We're using sposies o/night and cloth during the day, I want to change to cloth at night too.
She really hates feeling wet and during the day will complain with a wet nappy, is there any night nappy we can use that will not leave her feeling wet and wake her before she is due for a feed. I'm looking for something that will last the whole night for when she starts sleeping thru. She's very petite at the moment, measuring just under 5kg.
I have been using itty bittys for overnight (he sleeps anywhere between 3hrs to 6-7hrs) and these last great same with maz's night nappies they would probably last the whole night if he slept through lol
We use Tots Bots Bamboozles for night time, with a bamboo tri-fold booster. Its pretty chunky but hey all she does is sleep in it, so I don't see an issue. To date (she's been in them for about 9mths) she hasn't wet thru or leaked in the mornings and her nappy doesn't wake her up.
If you're worried about wetness, try a microfleece liner next to the skin - draws moisture away so they still feel dry. You can buy microfleece from Lincraft/Spotlight/fabric shops and just cut it to the size you need. Doesn't need to be fancy or hemmed, just a strip of fabric. Works for us!
I wouldn't probably go with ittis - just incase of a reaction to being in suedecloth for that long. I can't have my girls in any suedecloth - they rash up immediately.
I think DD2 is about 6kg - and she fits perfectly into a nicnap night nappy (medium), so that is what we have been using. We also use the super trim nights by genesa forge - medium as well.
