    Listeria and reheating Question

Quick question ladies, went to Google and got conflicting info! With the whole listeria and reheating I gather you canreheat food as long as it has been cooking within 24 hours of the reheat?

I rehaeated some thai chicken balls that we bought from the butcher (all ready madeand less then 24 hours old) and heating them to steaming hot, but by the ...time I actually ate the, they were luke warm, Im assuming the reheat killed any bateria anyway??

I *think* that as long as they were stored in the fridge between being bought (I assume the butcher had them refrigerated ) and being reheated to piping hot... then you should be ok! How long between heating and eating?? 15 minutes - you're good. 3 hours - maybe not!

It's when food sits around at room temp that listeria grows...

I quished them up and put them in a sandwich with some rocket.. YUMMO!!! So prolly about 10 mins before I ate the whole thing, and yes they were in fridge in butcher and then straight in fridge when we got home.
