    Unhappy Baby's Movements... Please help

Hi ladies, need your help, going a little insane here!

I have an anterior placenta and am 21 +4 days along. For the last 2 weeks I have been feeling little muscle spasms in my lower abdomen, my little bubbles that I was having stopped at this time too. Mainly feel them in the middle in the same spot but occasionally to the left/right of that spot.

Another first time mother told me that it was prolly just a muscle spasm and not baby kicking because its only in the one area. This has freaked me out.

I was so hoping it was baby kicking. I can even feel it on the outside.....

    Please help!

Sounds like you'll be feeling more and more movement soon

With my first pg I was around 22 weeks before I felt anything and then 17 weeks last time and 19 weeks this time.

This one and my last one were anterior placenta too

(This baby mostly kicks in the same places too)

    Hello,

I am exactly the same as you, due 26/8 and last Wednesday to Friday I felt baby kicking, I'm sure it was definitely him but since then he has stopped. I felt him about 3 or 4 times during the day and night and now nothing for 2 days.
Is this normal? I guess I might just be worried over not much, but it's weird how he was so active, and now he's not. I have called the midwife but they are always busy and I haven't gotten through.

Oh yes, sorry forgot to mention I do have an anterior placenta. I had my first appointment with the midwife a couple of weeks ago, and she said I should feel up to 10 or so movements a day - but I forgot to ask her at how many weeks this is likely to occur.

were your movements only in the same area/spot? My obs said not tow orry about movemetns and counting them until 28 weeks. Especially from 20 until 24 weeks as they can be quite sparodic.

Thats why we dont feel much movement cos they have the placenta to get through first and are not strong enough yet. Mind you its driving me insane. On another forum I am on all the mummies talk about how they are having parties in there tummy. No such luck here.

Oh that's a relief to hear, about not counting them until 28 wks. Well they were kind of in the same spot, below my belly button and to the left and right, and sometimes only a couple of cm's below my bellow button. I felt him quite strongly when i was laying down on my back quite still, I know you're not meant to lie on your back, but just for a few minutes I did and this. I've also felt muscle spasms/twitches but these were quite lower down, and I didn't think this was baby. Wow I think I'm just a worry wart - we worry until 12 weeks, and then again at the 19 wk scan, and then waiting until we feel kicks! People say pregnancy is enjoyable, I think so too, but also it's stressful and thinking about what foods not to eat etc etc. But hopefully we will feel strong little kicks soon :-)
