    Falling progesterone levels?

So, I only just got the results of my progesterone tests for the last four weeks. They've been falling pretty steadily. Gynae said not to worry about it (post molar docs are all SO hung up on my hCG that they don't seem to care about anything else) They'r still within acceptable range though:

    4 weeks: 96
    5 weeks: 92
    6 weeks: 83
    7 weeks: 74
    8 weeks: 62

Should I be worried about this?

    TIA

Audax - dont google! googling is bad! and i hate it how doc's are more worried about HCG levels than they are about Progesterone when the "Progesterone production is necessary for the safe maintenance of pregnancy "

I really cant give you a answer on if you should be worried or not - if it was my situation than i would be worried, low progesterone has been the problem for my miscarriages! but your situation may be completley different and i really hope it is! all i know is that progesterone is meant to increase!

Urs are still within the acceptable range - so maybe just trust that all is going to be okay - did your doc say they would do anything if they kept dropping?

I know i havent been much help and reassurance - i hope all is okay tho!

My docalways just refers to the post molar gynae. Who doesn't care. But I care!!!

Google actually isn't freaking me out too much.

So, maybe if I get down to, say 40 or so, I will commence the freak out. Meanwhile, will just assume that everything is OK, since they are still normal levels.

On the plus side, I think molar preg causes prog levels to spike, so this is further evidence that it's not happening again. Small relief.

Meanwhile, my BP is low. So don't need to worry about the stress making it shoot up

Maybe a good idea! just trust your doctors!

    I have found that ranges for 1st Trimester is 30-160, 2nd Trimester 110-340 and 3rd Trimester 210-600

So ur definatly in the normal ranges! which is good! And urs have been higher than what mine was at 6wks!

I actually got mine tested again today so waiting on results - mine may go down also!

I would be inclined to think that things are ok, your levels are really good and that, combined with a good hCG to me, seem to indicate that things are within normal ranges and the pregnancy is continuing as it should.

sweet, it can be so scary getting numbers xx

I can't even remember what my hCG was today - I think it was 80-something-thousand. Good, anyway, without being too high.

Thanks SO much ladies. There's always going to be something making me panic.

Your doing awesome! Levels are in the normal range and hCG is all good, take deep breaths. Panicking is fine, of course you'll panic, but you'll also have some really good days. Even if they haven't shown up yet, they will. Trust me, I know stuff, lol.
