i have PCOS and trying to concieve with primolut and clomid
hi everyone,
im very new to the assisted fertility stuff so bear with me please.
i have PCOS and have recently been told to take Primoult, one tablet twice a day for five days. day two of taking those, take Clomid, one tablet once daily for five days. then wait for 5-7 days and then ill be ovulating.
its day four of taking the Primoult tablets and day three of taking the Clomid, no change in anything yet and no AF.. :|
was just wondering what other peoples experiences were with taking this and what should i really be expecting because my doctor wasnt really specific.
i really want a baby ASAP to add to my little family of me and my husband (newly weds) and our 2year old.
thankyou!

that's a very unusual way to be taking the tabs kristen - i think that primulot is a progesterone tablet - it is usually taken for x number of days, and then stopped to allow AF to arrive. i would be contacting your nurse just to make sure you are taking the tablets right
when i was taking the same tabs (i am pretty sure - it's a couple of years ago now) i had to take the primulot for five or seven days, then stop it and wait for AF to arrive. once she arrived, i think took the clomid days five to nine
You should be taking clomid during days 5-9 or 2-6 of your bleeding (whichever was recommended to you), which will start few days after you STOP the progestogen tablets, NOT at the same time as the progestogen.
