    Chick Peas - what can I use them for?

    Obviously i've made hummus with them before? But what other things can i make with them? I'm going to make some pumpkin soup today, could I add some into that (blended up no one will know will they?)
    ANy other suggestions appreciated

    Salad, Curries, Biscuits (I know Lulu makes the kids biscuits with chick peas).

    I made a yummy chicken curry with some a few weeks ago, it was delish!! I think it was from the taste website.

    Chickpea burgers
    If you add chickpeas to a normal coleslaw, it really bulks it out and adds a smoother texture to it (and healthy)
    Can't think of any more right now but let us know how you go.

    ETA: A bean salad with whatever you want; kidney beans, chickpeas, a bit of mayo and olive oil, celery, maybe some carrot...mmm

    i'm just about to make chickpea and cauliflower soup...I had it at a nice hotel a few years ago and it was delish. Hopefully I can replicate it or DH will be whinging I've given him a boring vego dinner lol!

    Leave them unblended and add to asparagus soup with some rice pasta, yum!

    I make a chickpea dip - chickpeas, greek yoghurt, coriander and salt and pepper. Yummy AND easy!

    Oh also, we use them lots in the slow cooker - they really hold their shape well.
