Yes DP and I are in the same boat. I like one and DP doesn't or vice versa. We have agreed to one name for a girl and that will be Mia but thats all so far.
I have looked and re looked on the internet for baby names but there is none I seem to just fall for.
We struggled, I liked lots but DH didn't like many! When DS1 was born we had boys name set from 18 weeks and no girls name (discussing in labour) so lucky was a boy!!
DS2 we decided on both boy and girls names night before cs!!!!! (39+5 weeks oops)
I found writing a list (or in my case on iphone) and just regularly suggesting names to DH and if he says no way deleting it if not as convincing leave it and read it again a few days later to him!
Yeah we always struggled with names - but eventually found one just before bubs was born. Except for DD2, she was going to be Airlea, but didn't look it when she came out!! So we called her Eden instead - took a while to find the right name for her though.
Feeb - Harrison was a name I suggested to DH as well as Nicolas. Both got the thumbs down but I ahve elft them on my list as I don't mind either of them.
I have loads of girls names but keep thinking / feeling boy blue and our eldest keeps saying it is a boy too!
Maybe we can call him (if it is) Sonny....
This arvo I am going to go back through alllllllllllll my school pics and check out names!
We have sorta picked a few names - but hubby changes his mind like his undies.
One week he will like one name, then the following he hates it - I can't win.
Some of the names we picked have been (I kept every name we ''liked" even if it dropped off the list later, as you can see the girl list blew out once we knew it was a girl!)

We had a lot of trouble with names this time round!! Would couldn't agree, well it seemed as though DH didn't like anything at all!!! Finally we got there in the end and love our choices.
I hope you find the perfect one really soon.
we are having a boy and everyone keeps asking if we have decided on a name yet.
we have a list of about 10-15 names and havnt been able to narrow it down any further than that his middle name is going to be following DF's family tradition (last 4 generations of oldest boys have the same middle name and until DF same 1st name) and stick with Johannes. we have stopped trying to decide on a 1st name!! unless one really jumps out at us between now and his arrival, we are just going to take the list to hospital and decide when we meet him!
I'm having a c-section next Fridy, we're having a boy and are also stuck for names!!!
So far we have:
Alex
Luke
Connor
Brayden
Logan
I'm leaning towards Logan Henry. It's enough of a traditional name that will go with ds's name (James Patrick) but doesn't seem to be as common as the others.
(also..... does anyone remember 'Logan Huntsburger' from Gilmore Girls.....YUMMMM!!! He's now popped up again in The Good Wife.... but shhhhh..... don't tell dh or he'll be struck from my list!!! )
With DD1 we had a boys name picked from well before we were even PG and then we found out she was a girl and had no idea, we picked 1 name and that was it, it fitted and it was so her.... when we found out DD2 was going to be a girl... It took ages, DP would like one then not like it etc etc and it was soo soo annoying.
In the end he joked with his sis about bubs being called Zara Grace and i said thats it you've said it in public we are going with it (thats the one i wanted anyway )
Hope you find something just right, check the baby sections in the newspaper, birth announcements on here... you find inspiration in the strangest of places sometimes.
