I was an insomnia sufferer while pregnant (both times) it was horrible, all i can suggest is find somewhere really comfortable to sleep... i spent a lot of nights out on the couch cos it was more confortable than the bed.
Hope you get some sleep soon!

meeeee. I was up all night doing housework. folding clothes, doing washing, dishes etc. i think it's just nesting but i only got to sleep around 6.30 this morning then woke up again at 8... this is becoming a habit i am not a fan of. A few weeks ago i would wake up at 3 and feel the urge to do these things but last night i didn't even go to sleep.

Me too! For a while there it was 2:30am every morning I've managed to stay in bed and doze on and off now until about 4:30am but that's pretty much the latest I'm in bed in the am. Makes for a very long day.

I totally understand what you are going through, I'm 19 weeks into my pregnancy and since i found out I was pregnant, I have been suffering insomnia. I toss and turn at night but during the day I could easily fall asleep at work, but as soon as my head hits that pillow im wide awake again. I have tried everything to get mys to sleep, but nothing works. If you know any remedies I would love to hear them

Ah yes, know all about that!!! I am at the other end of my preg, and awake for different reasons, but I too am awake a lot of the night most nights.
Early on I'd be awake a lot, but it did settle for me then started again in the 3rd tri due to needing to pee so much, can't get comfy, can't breathe properly etc etc.
I really hope it gets better for you really soon and you're able to get in some afternoon naps until then.
Take care and congrats on your preg!!

    Re: Sleepless nights grrr

Not experiencing breathlessness but I'm in very early days yet.
I do have morning sickness 24/7 though, just went out and bought Ginger cookies, lemon & Ginger tea and crystallized Ginger hope they help .
Morning sickness plus no sleeping plus a cold is leaving me not feeling too good, but it's all for a good cause

babyluv - im sorry ot hear about the m/s, I suffered the bad m/s as well 24/7 and vomiting along with stomach ulcers until around week 17. Nothing really helped me at all so I know what you are going through. I kept on top of jelly though as it kept some vomiting down plus kept my sugar level high enough. I hope it stops for you soon.
