    First thoughts??

    I was in the shops the other day and heard these two names....I'm usure what i think of them. What are you first impressions/thought.

    These are the names:
    Jorda
    Elara

    Jorda - don't like at all
    Elara - quite pretty like Clara better.

    I like them both. Elara took abit to grow on me.. but its not bad. Jorda is quite a popular name these days

    All the names mentioned are all nice.

    I like different sounding names and these are really lovely

    My daughter is Jorda, I never heard of it prior to me getting rid of the n in Jordan and making the name up..

    I would have used it if others had.. but never ever saw it in a book..

    I Agree! I also like the fact that Elara sounds a little old fashioned, but not boring, still kinda new! LOVE it!

    Elara is gorgeous...Jorda doesn't do it for me, sounds a bit...I don't know, boof-heady lol.

    Don't like Jorda or Siani. Jorda sounds like a power tool.

    Elara is quite pretty though. And I do like Sian and Georgia.
