I'm assuming no, that you need a script, but can you buy asthma preventative puffers over the counter??
Twice in one week for DD1 looks like its not gonna be a good winter, so better get prepared.
And...a silly question, but can someone tell me what the peachy coloured preventer is called. She was on Seretide for 5 or 6 years, then switched, & hasn't needed it so much so can't remember the name of it Tell me its Flixotide??
Flixotide is the right thing, it is a steroid, you can get Ventolin over the counter, but I don't think you can get the preventatives as the dosages on them is much more strict and they have to be at a prescribed level.
*Molly* I can get Ventolin for DD over the counter, no prescription needed, I just have to get them to label it with her name on it, but I should check to see if I get a prescription written by her Dr if it will be cheaper as we tend to go through a lot over winter
Lol, yeah I know I can get ventolin over the counter. For about $10 here (though I've heard that hugely varies). I have a little card thats sposed to be filled out every time I buy one though.
I thought that about the preventers, was just hoping. Guess we should make an appointment...or start tearing this place apart to find hers. Her script is past the 12 months, so need a new one.
& Beema - I'm pretty sure it comes under the PBS, so is about $5 on a script, but I've just been buying them for a few years now.
