For the past two months I've been experiencing period pain all month. I have a history of endometriosis but have been pretty much symptom free of it for years (apart form pre menstrual spotting). I've always had ovulation pain as well.
However, I'm now having pain - and really debilitating pain at times- for practically the whole month. I'm also having to get up at least 6 times a night to pee.
At 48, I realize I'm probably perimenopausal (my cycles have been gradually getting longer for the past 12 months or so). But, I'm not sure this pain is normal.
Anyone have any clues or experienced this?
PS To those of you that still remember me from the old days...sorry I've been MIA for so long
I have both endo and pcos, and have all cycle pain....however, that has only been for the last two months which is what makes me think that my endo is flaring up again im actually going back to see my endo specialist to see what his thoughts are because atm i am taking analgesics daily for the pain
are you able to get to a specialist to get their thoughts?
I've been having the same problem of late... I'm still waiting for AF back after my youngest's birth (15 months ago) and I also have PCOS.... I know every month around my old ov and AF times I'd get pain, but for the past 5 weeks I've had it constant. I thought I could have been UTD with other symptoms, but 3 tests later and all negative I doubt I am!
I have no idea what it is caused from, or why it's all month long, but I can certainly empathise! *hugs(
