T1D - Any other children/parents

Hi

I am just wondering if there are any other parents out there that have children with T1D (Type 1 Diabetes/Juvenile Diabetes)

Miss 4 was Dx Oct08, Pumping since Aug09.

I don't have a child with type 1 but I have type 1 myself...diagnosed as a little tacker over 30 years ago now.

Have you checked out "munted pancreas"...it's an australian support website forum for parents of children with type 1...there is also "realitycheck" for us oldies with type 1 that are both invaluable resources.

My biggest fear is that my little man might develop it.......
