Angry 7wks 6 days pregnant and worried

i have a 2yr old little boy and he keeps hitting me in the belly, i have explained to him that he cant do it as i have a bubby growing in there and he cries and stops but then a little while later comes and does it again.

I'm very worried he is going to make me MC coz he keeps hitting me belly??

    Is this possible??

I really need to know that everything is going to be ok as i really dont want to MC and i cant get him to stop doing it

is he hitting you so hard that it's winding you and causing you pain? At this stage bubba's are nice and safe, cushioned in there, so I think you'd be fine unless they were really serious punches. Why is he hitting your tummy? Because he knows you're pregnant?

no he's not hitting me so it winds me, but the last one he just did not long ago i was abit sore afterwards...

I don't think he means to do it, because i use to play with him like wrestle and stuff on the floor but since becoming UTD i have stopped letting him jump all over me and stuff and he thinks he can still do it, now i guess im paying for it

I dont think he fully understands that he's going to be a big brother and i have stopped trying to explain it to him as much incase i do MC. I mean i think he knows in his own way but doesnt show anything to me, he will come and put his hand on my belly like hes trying to feel the baby but will then try and hit it im just really confused!

Thankyou for the reassurance i lost my first pregnancy to a MC and i was working in childcare and had a little girl constantly hitting me in the belly to get my attention and yes unfortently lost it at almost 11wks, so im very worried that he is going to do the same thing to me

It would be very unlikely that your 2yo could hit you hard enough to cause a MC. Your baby is quite well protected by your stomach muscles uterus and amniotic fluid.

yeah... I remember DS would clamber all over my belly throughout the whole pregnancy, and my belly would get kicked at night (we were co-sleeping). They are very well protected in there. Now I've got two kids climbing all over me. I've had the odd elbow in the stomach and gone ouch.. but I'm not worried about bub.. I'm absorbing all the pain LOL.

Hugs hun, baby is very well protected and snuggled up inside, very unlikely that Zak could hurt baby and cause a mc.
DS1 has always been a wiggly boy and my belly was often kicked or hit as he was climbing on or off me or when being changed and DS2 is fine.

I know the stress as my first preg was a mc too and through both subsequent pregnancy's I was very worried!

Hugs rest up and take it easy
