I was wondering if there is any mother's to be in canberra? I would like to talk to other's from canberra.

Im 24 weeks pregnant and would love to hear other stories and maybe even join a mothers group.

Hi Deana..... I live in Canberra and while I am not currently pregnant I have two little ones!! 2.8 years and 8 month old! We -BB chickies try and have a catch up once a month with our little ones and you are more than welcome to join (the thread is found in Mothergroup section of BB)......... Where are you having your baby?

Hi Deana!

i am new to canberra and i am due in a couple of weeks! I havent made it to the Canberra BB meet up yet, but i am looking forward to the next one (as long as i am not in hospital having bubs!)

I live in Evatt and i have just joined a playgroup in Flynn for my nearly 2year old boy, but you wont need a "playgroup" for a while yet! - i am not sure about mothers groups though- in the last town i lived in they ran through the MCHN and tried to get mums with bubs all around the same ages, but i havent come across anything like that yet- i am sure i will find out when bubs arrives- i will let you know!

I am going to Calvary- where are you going to have your baby?

Chepie – Thank you, I would love to join the BB canberra mothers group.
Im on the waiting list for the birthing centre at Canberra Hospital, but at the moment going through antenatal. I cannot wait for the big day to come lol.
Did you have your 2 at Canberra Hospital? I would love to hear your stories.

Congrats on the pregnancy, how exciting.
My mother-in-law works at Calvary (not as a midwife), but she would like to me to go through them, but as I live in Isabella Plains, it would be much easier for me to go straight to Canberra Hospital lol.
Have you got a plan for this birth?


Can I still join this mothers group if im not due for another 3 months?
