I am so frustrated right now. I am a cert III qualified childcare worker who is 5 units away from completing my diploms in childrens services and no one will employ me, and i cant understand why! I thought centres were struggling to find workers. i am happy to start in any room and need to have full time work.
Anyone out there know of any work for a childcare worker in Ballarat?
Wow. I thought everywhere was desperate for staff too. If only you were in Brissy, you could do my job and I could start early maternity leave! Can you start as a casual at a few places, to pick up as much as possible, then show them how awesome you are, and when there's an opening, pounce!
When I worked as a CC director, that's how I got new staff. Cheaper than advertising.
Not sure but there are heaps of ABC centres in Ballarat so maybe you should apply online for them, thats how i got into the centres (not working as a childcare worker anymore) also try the childcare centre at the University of Ballarat
