    14mnth old Overexcited and chucks?

My DS is 14mnths old and the past three days has thrown up when he gets over excited. I just wanted to know if any one else has experienced this and whether i should take him to the doctor. He is definatly not sick just works himself up.

    14mnth old Overexcited and chucks?

Dd1 used to do this when she got really upset, now she is older she can talk us through what us wrong and has outgrown it. Try and distract him if you can remove him from the situation, offer a sippy cup of water and hugs. Look for the signs of it happening and hopefully it will stop.

My DS will do this if he laughs too much. He first gets the hiccups and then will vomit. I just try not to let him get so overexcited! DH on the other hand will tickle him waayyy too much and he vomits... I think it's ok, I assume it's just that their muscles in their tummies are still underdeveloped a bit.

My 3 year old still does that, except he does it when he is upset. He is slowly outgrowing it. He used to do it when he was excited as well but seems to have that under control.

What I did was say stop really loud but not yelling and put my hands out. He would copy me. Then we would take deep breaths together until he calmed down. He also added a little bum wiggle into it which was soooo cute.

I think he will outgrow it. Just try to distract him with something or try and get him to stop and calm down.
