    PUL lifespan

    Hi there,

I'm after some info on how long I can expect PUL to retain its waterproofness for. I have heard that PUL can wear out after 100 washes or so. Do you think that's true?

Also, PUL is the first part of your average nappy to wear out. So, is it more economical to use fitted and covers as PUL in the cover gets washed less than say an AIO or pocket?

I'm leaning towards getting some pockets but want something that is going to last a long time (i.e. several more children, God willing).

    Thoughts?

I've got BumG's and BBH covers that have been going nearly 4 years now.....surely they'd have done more than 100 washes.
